Prompt an AI to write an intro. Then make it fit. 64 KB is the outer wall — the real game is 4K, and 1K is the hall of fame. Raw bytes, no network.

Easy to get into. Sets the brand. Anything valid gets in.

Tight enough that the prompt and the iterations matter.

Rules

COUNTED .....: Raw bytes of the file as submitted. Server gzip does not count.
WHY RAW .....: Anyone can check it, the box below shows it live, and it is harder to game.
CEILING .....: 65,536 B. Over that, it is not an entry.
CLASS .......: Exactly one: the smallest class it fits. A 900 B file competes in 1K only.
FORMAT ......: One self-contained .html file.
NETWORK .....: None. No external scripts, imports, fetch, images or fonts — so no CDN three.js. Previews run under CSP default-src 'none': if it breaks there, it is out.
AI ..........: Any model, any tool. Share the model and prompt if you like — it feeds the model leaderboard.
ORIGINAL ....: No copies of existing JS1k, dwitter or demoscene work.
PACKERS .....: Allowed. RegPack, Roadroller and friends are fine — the packed file is what gets counted.

Prompt kit

Using AI is the point. Pick your model to open the prompt, copy it, replace the theme, then iterate. The model's byte estimate is a guess — the counter below is the judge.

Count & submit

Paste your intro or load a file. What is in the box is exactly what gets counted and submitted. Entries are reviewed before they go live.
